Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2025

Overview

Thank you for shopping at RG Groceries. We strive to ensure all our customers are satisfied with their orders. Our return and refund policy is valid for 7 days from the date of delivery, applicable only to eligible items. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges beyond this period.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of grocery and FMCG products, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Perishable goods such as fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, and bakery items
  • Items with tampered packaging or broken safety seals
  • Frozen or temperature-sensitive items
  • Opened food products, beverages, or snacks
  • Personal hygiene, health care, or sanitary products
  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers

Eligible Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • The item was delivered damaged, expired, or incorrect
  • The product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging
  • You raise the return request within 7 days of delivery

To initiate a return, email us at refunds@rggroceries.in with your order ID, photo evidence (if applicable), and reason for return.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the status of your refund. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • Check your bank account or card statement again
  • Contact your credit card company—it may take a few days to reflect
  • Contact your bank—some banks take additional time to process

If you’ve completed the above steps and still haven’t received your refund, please email us at refunds@rggroceries.in.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged during delivery. To request an exchange, contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item. Send the item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit after the return is approved. If it wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.

Return Shipping

To return your product, please mail it to the address above.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the error was on our end.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for high-value returns.
